The Georgia Department of Transportation intends to improve I-285 between South Atlanta Road and Henderson Road. Improvements will also be implemented on State Route 400 from the vicinity of the North Springs MARTA station to just south of Glenridge Connector. These improvements will include safety and capacity enhancements. Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.
