The Georgia Department of Transportation intends to widen State Route 42 in Henry County from north of McDonough to State Route 138 in Stockbridge. This project will include a variety of roadway and intersection improvements. Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.
