The Georgia Department of Transportation intends to widen and improve I-75 from I-475 to SR 155 with the additional of commercial truck lanes. This work will include some interchange improvements, and will occur across Butts, Henry, Lamar, Monroe, and Spalding counties. Work for this project will include the acquisition of new right of way and a variety of easements imposed on adjacent landowners through the eminent domain process.
